Food & Drink: Gibson's Chocolate Covered Marshmallows

Although I love many different kinds of chocolate, I do consider myself to be a true chocolate covered marshmallow aficionado. Now this may seem to be something that should be pretty straightforward…how different can two chocolate covered marshmallows be? Trust me…the variance can be huge! It’s really all in the quality of the chocolate itself (the freshness of the mallow does make a bit of difference too though).

I must boldly state that I have found THE ULTIMATE CHOCOLATE COVERED MARSHMALLOW. I met Jeremy Gibson from Gibson’s Chocolates at a trade show and decided to try his version of the chocolate covered marshmallow to see if he truly was a chocolatier in my books. I had no idea what I was about to experience.

These were by far the best chocolate covered marshmallows that I have ever tasted. I don’t know what the Gibson’s Chocolates secret is but they better keep it locked up tight as they have mastered their craft.

They have many other delectable chocolaty treats as well including truffles, chocolate covered licorice, festive delights such as chocolate Santas, English toffees and almond bark. I haven’t tried them all but I look forward to it as I am sure that they are all representative of the same high-quality chocolate goodness.
