Tool: Craftsman Scrolling Sabre Saw

I like power tools! I like working with my hands and building stuff. Unfortunately though, my workshop is not filled with state of the art tools. I have made-do with power tools that were handed down to me from previous generations (my drill should be in the Smithsonian).

So I was floored when I was given a brand new Scrolling Sabre Saw. This thing is so beautiful, I may start to grunt like Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor. So far, I have only used it for a small job, and I can’t wait to tackle a bigger project.

The saw features a laser that projects ahead of the blade in a straight line, making it easy to make clean straight cuts. It also features a scrolling knob that allows you to turn the blade 360 degrees for scroll cuts.

It also has variable speeds, a removable handle and an LED light to light up your project.
