We are a Canadian company and therefore will have a primary focus nationally but gradually we will expand across our borders to cover all of North America and beyond. ShopAware.com and You – “Raising The Bar” Sometimes a simple misunderstanding can lead to a negative shopping experience. We know that a great deal of passion and personality can go into a customer service relationship but what if someone is simply having a really bad day! Does that make them a bad business? Not necessarily. The Offenders are really those companies who perpetually receive complaints about their service and business practices. In these instances, ShopAware.com will contact the business and discuss the issues with them and offer to assist them in rectifying their issues and encourage them to take on a new customer service approach. Again, our goal is to “raise the bar”, not just to complain, so if a company makes great strides towards changing their ways, we will applaud them and highlight their improvement on our site. If however a company has no interest in rectifying their issues, they will be listed in the ShopAware “Hall of Shame”. Anything falling outside of the customer service scope, including incidences of a more serious nature will immediately be reported by ShopAware.com to the authorities for further investigation.
