Once upon a time customer service reigned supreme and shops and businesses placed tremendous importance on their clients’ satisfaction.
Wouldn’t it be great to return to those good old days?
ShopAware is a site dedicated to customer service in retail, business and services. You, our valued guest, are invited to have fun, to learn, to contribute, to recommend and to critique while having a fabulous time along the way.
Our reason for being here is simple, to create a more positive and entertaining shopping environment throughout communities everywhere.
Come along with me and enjoy the experience,
Our focus at ShopAware.com is to applaud companies who settle for nothing less than great customer service and complete satisfaction, and to encourage more companies to adopt these practices. The goal is a fun and entertaining shopping experience for all.
…And we ask our users to do the same. If you have found a great company, let us know so we can spotlight them. We encourage you to write a review and also e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know of unique new businesses with a great approach to customer satisfaction and the ultimate shopping experience.
We are a Canadian company and therefore will have a primary focus nationally but gradually we will expand across our borders to cover all of North America and beyond.
ShopAware.com and You – “Raising The Bar”
Sometimes a simple misunderstanding can lead to a negative shopping experience. We know that a great deal of passion and personality can go into a customer service relationship but what if someone is simply having a really bad day! Does that make them a bad business? Not necessarily.
The Offenders are really those companies who perpetually receive complaints about their service and business practices. In these instances, ShopAware.com will contact the business and discuss the issues with them and offer to assist them in rectifying their issues and encourage them to take on a new customer service approach. Again, our goal is to “raise the bar”, not just to complain, so if a company makes great strides towards changing their ways, we will applaud them and highlight their improvement on our site.
If however a company has no interest in rectifying their issues, they will be listed in the ShopAware “Hall of Shame”. Anything falling outside of the customer service scope, including incidences of a more serious nature will immediately be reported by ShopAware.com to the authorities for further investigation.
For those who like to shop… we salute you!
